Preston Monongye (Hopi) Silver and Turquoise Overlay Bracelet, c. 1970
B 3410
Big and beautiful. Monongye was more known for his cast pieces, but his skill at overlay work was excellent. Note the three figures in a line, and the terminal turquoise on one end—very creative. Hallmarked. Inside size 7 7/8” with a 1” opening (wears smaller, and can be adjusted), width 2”, weight 157 grams.
