Navajo Silver and Turquoise Bracelet, c. 1940
B 3391
This is a very interesting bracelet—the stamps, especially the triangular one on the side, can be traced to C. G. Wallace’s trading posts in the 1930s and 1940s. The arrowhead hallmark is not known, but the bracelet is clearly the work of one of the four Navajo silversmiths working for Wallace at that time. Nice weight, wear and turquoise. Inside size 5 3/8” with a 1 3/16” opening (can be adjusted), weight 32 grams.
