A division winner at the 1991 Santa Fe Indian Market (ribbon included), this hallmarked belt has a buckle and 8 conchos, each of which displays a different bird in stone and shell inlay. To top it off, the 7 separators each have lovely butterflies done in inlay. Pictured on page 94 of Dexter Cirillo’s SOUTHWESTERN INDIAN JEWELRY. Truly a masterpiece that has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated, and possibly the finest piece of modern Zuni inlay ever produced. Buckle measures 3” x 2 1/2”, each concho measures 2 1/2” x 2”, fits a 33”-34” waist. Total weight 415 grams.
