Fred Peshlakai inverted teardrop bolo tie featured on p.175 of Steven Curtis' book: Navajo Silversmith Fred Peshlakai His Life and Art. This unusual bolo features Gem Crysocholla and sterling. It is hallmarked and was purchased in the Summer months of 1962. The terminal elements are hollow; each with a pair of repousse' clappers that move independently inside their mounts. It comes with a signed letter of provenance with the picture of the piece integrated on the same page.
