Fred Peshlakai--boot knife and leather and silver sheath with bezel-set turquoise on leather backing. Both sheath and knife have Blue Gem. Purchased in May 1966 from Fred Peshlakai by John Strong in L.A., California. Published piece on p. 186 in Steven Curtis' book Navajo Silversmith Fred Peshlakai: His Life & Art. Total length with knife in sheath is 7.75" The sheath is 4" long and the knife is 6.5" long. The combined weight of the sheath and knife is 35 grams. Comes with signed letter of provenance signed by John B. Strong
